Couchbase Travel and Expense Analyst - Only for 6 months contracting.
The Couchbase Travel and Expense (T&E) Analyst manages, audits, and optimizes employee travel and business expense reports to ensure policy compliance and cost control. They will oversee the Brex corporate card program, reconcile transactions in Brex and Navan, and provide excellent support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Expense Auditing: Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with the Couchbase T&E company policy.
- System Administration: Manage and troubleshoot issues in Navan and Brex, in partnership with IT, GL team and platform support.
- Corporate Card Management: Administer the Brex corporate credit card program, including issuance, limits, and monitoring for fraud.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports on spending trends, travel costs, and policy compliance for leadership.
- Support & Training: Act as the subject matter expert to answer employee questions and provide training on expense tools.
- General Process Improvements: Analyzing spending data for trends, improving processes, and managing vendor relationships.
- Other Procurement Compliance Activities: Daily support of compliance related activities and projects for Procurement (Access Reviews, SOX, ISO, etc.)
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of T&E experience in a high growth technology company
- Solid project management skills
- Demonstrates high energy with ability to remain flexible and change priorities in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service skills required
- Must be a self-starter
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and G-suite
- Knowledge of Brex and experience with purchasing programs a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze large data sets
