We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Arbitrator consultant to join our Legal Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conflict resolution and a deep understanding of legal principles and practices. As an Arbitrator, you will be responsible for facilitating the resolution of disputes between parties by conducting hearings, reviewing evidence, and making binding decisions.The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to remain neutral and unbiased. You will need to be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful arbitration and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct arbitration hearings and facilitate discussions between disputing parties.
  • Review and analyze evidence, documents, and testimonies presented by both parties.
  • Make binding decisions based on the evidence and legal principles.
  • Draft and issue written arbitration awards and decisions.
  • Maintain neutrality and impartiality throughout the arbitration process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and arbitration rules.
  • Communicate effectively with parties, legal representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple arbitration cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Provide guidance and support to parties on the arbitration process.
  • Stay updated on changes in arbitration laws and practices.
  • Conduct pre-hearing conferences to clarify issues and set procedures.
  • Facilitate settlement discussions and encourage parties to reach mutually agreeable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of arbitration proceedings.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in law, or a related field.

Certification or accreditation in arbitration or mediation.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in arbitration or a related field.

Strong understanding of legal principles and practices.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to remain neutral and unbiased.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Proven track record of successful arbitration.

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong writing skills for drafting arbitration awards and decisions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
