About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a DevOps Manager to join our Falcon Complete team. The team is responsible for delivering tools, features, and capabilities to support our Service Delivery Team. Falcon Complete is a Global 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team composed of Analysts and Security Advisors focused on protecting our customers against the most advanced threats in the world.

Working closely with this fast paced team you’ll be expected to find balance between architectural integrity and tactical delivery, steering a path towards sustainable and scalable systems while delivering continuous improvements.

You’ll be working in a friendly and highly collaborative team with a real and immediate mission focus, with the ability to see the impact your work has on the safety and security of businesses, governments and NGOs around the world.

This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the DevOps team, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure high productivity and quality output.

  • Be a champion of high code quality, detailed architectural designs, and robust systems.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies, policies, and best practices.

  • Partner with stakeholders and team members to develop, coordinate, and execute on an engineering roadmap that aligns with business objectives and priorities.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Lead by example with a customer and product focus.

  • Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the team is constantly advancing through effective leadership, coaching, motivation, and day-to-day management.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience running an engineering team with a track record of successfully hiring and developing engineering talent and creating effective & healthy work environments.

  • Experience & familiarity working with both front-end/UI & back-end development pipelines.

  • Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including UX, engineering, program & product management and support teams.

  • Ability and desire to be hands on as well as lead the team and collaborating cross functionally.

  • Ability to communicate and articulate clearly at all levels from engineers to executive staff.

  • The ability to mentor and guide team members in the latest DevOps practices and technologies.

  • Excellent documentation skills, and the ability to guide employees with documentation standards.

  • Background or experience working in a CI/CD pipeline environment.

  • Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI etc.

  • Experience with Jira Service Desk.

  • Broad grounding in all aspects of distributed systems & cloud infrastructure development.

  • Solid design and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, pragmatism, quality, security, and performance.

  • Experience working in and with remote & distributed environments.

  • Experience with Problem, Change and Incident Management framework and principles.

  • US Citizenship is required

Bonus Points:

  • Cybersecurity industry experience is strongly preferred.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $185,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
