About the Role:
We’re looking for a Product Analytics Engineer to join our Product Insights team. Our team is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and leveraging the analytics data systems in and around the award-winning Crowdstrike Falcon Console. This work is foundational and enables high-speed, high-precision, and data-driven decision making that keeps customers raving about our products.
As a Product Analytics Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will be involved in building data systems to consolidate and present actionable data on how our users interact with and utilize our products and services. In this role, you will capture, ingest, transform and integrate information from multiple sources into a single, enterprise-wide data analytics architecture and solution. You will be part of a data platform and experience team that is continuously developing and improving product features to protect our customers from increasingly complex threat actors attempting data breaches.
What You'll Do:
Define, build and enhance our integrated, enterprise-wide data architecture and data analytics solutions.
Deliver a data analytics architecture that produces transparency and provides actionable, timely and accurate data to drive business, user experience and product strategy initiatives
Provide data analytics services to internal stakeholders to help solve critical business problems, drive value, and gain strategy and insight from information.
Use advanced data analysis techniques and architectures that leverage technology to process large volumes of data to perform complex computations in a scalable, reproducible and automated manner.
Build upon our common data framework so that all data is accessible to analysts and data scientists throughout the company.
Obsess about learning, and champion the newest technologies & tricks with others, raising the technical IQ of the team.
Work with large sets of data to build data pipelines and product analytics for executive and company wide reporting
Experience with Python, Go (Golang), AWS, SQL, Splunk, Apache Spark (PySpark), Apache Kafka, Snowflake, Amplitude, Tableau, Docker, Kubernetes
Think critically about stakeholder requests, ask insightful questions, and strategically impact outcomes
Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including product designers, product managers, and engineers, to deliver analytic solutions.
Be an energetic ‘self-starter’ with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field or commensurate experience in analytics/statistical analysis/data structures/algorithms/distributed systems
Recent hands-on experience using advanced analytics, machine learning or artificial intelligence to solve business problems.
Recent hands-on programming experience with some of the following: JavaScript, Go, R, Python, Spark, Snowflake, and/or other analytics tools and languages.
Recent hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as SQL, RDBMS, NoSQL, or Graph DBs, and Data Visualization skills using BI tools such as Snowflake, Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Domo, or D3.
Team player skills – we embrace collaborating as a team as much as possible.
A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture.
The ability to thrive in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
The skills to meet your commitments on time and produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats
Bring your experience in analytics and algorithms, UI & UX sensibilities, and your passion for building intuitive data architectures that solve real-world problems at extreme scale. The base salary range for this position in Canada is $85,000 - $150,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
