About the Role:

Come join the CrowdStrike Platform Operations team and join our mission to protect our most critical customers. The Resident Responder Consultant is responsible for providing dedicated support to customers with implementation, ongoing operational support, threat hunting, and incident response functions using the CrowdStrike platform and related technologies. The Resident Responder Consultant will act as an oversight and technical escalation point for customer security operations center (SOC) team using CrowdStrike and related technologies as well as having responsibility for planning, optimizing, maintaining, and follow on support for the CrowdStrike platform and associated applications.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist customers with threat detection and incident response capabilities using the CrowdStrike Falcon Platform and other security tools

  • Act as an oversight and technical escalation point for customer security operations center (SOC) team members using CrowdStrike technologies

  • Maintain awareness of upcoming CrowdStrike technologies and features releases to assist customer with adoption and operationalizing into their security operations process

  • Help customers build upon and mature their security operations and threat detection and response capabilities with a keen focus on leveraging CrowdStrike technologies to fill gaps

  • Help customers by researching and assessing customer’s threats and IOCs leveraging CrowdStrike’s intelligence

  • Provide insight to clients about industry attack trends and defenses by developing and maintaining deep awareness and understanding of evolving threats, adversaries and intrusion trends

  • Act as the technical and/or senior level interface for customer concerns or escalations

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, and/or equivalent military or work experience

  • 3+ years of client-facing consulting experience

  • Prior cyber security experience in three (3) or more of the following:

    • Threat response

    • Intrusion analysis

    • Endpoint incident response (MAC, Linux, and/or Windows)

    • Malware analysis

    • Penetration testing

    • Threat hunting

    • Intelligence

  • Highly knowledgeable on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms

  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure preferred

  • Self-starter, collaborative, dependable, and driven personality

  • Ability to build strong advisory relationships with customers and continuously exceeding expectations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to convey extremely technical concepts to audiences with varying technical acumen, from Security Analysts to C-Suite

  • Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK techniques and ability to articulate TTPs to customers

  • Proven ability and confidence to tailor communication to a wide range of stakeholders

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, LogRhythm, etc.

  • Familiarity with security tools like Nessus and/or ZScaler

  • Scripting experience: PowerShell, Python, Bash

  • Federal Government workspace experience

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or vendor-specific SIEM certifications

  • Familiarity and/or expertise with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $155,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
