About the Role:
In this role, you will take over an existing team of 3-4 engineers responsible for the sensor interface domain as part of the Identity Protection group of CrowdStrike. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager who is able to grow the team, drive initiatives that require coordination in both sensor and cloud environments and deliver high performance solutions at scale.
The Sensor Interface team is critically positioned between Sensor and Cloud and its goal is to allow better visibility into the sensor, as well as to create efficient ways for the sensor to communicate with the cloud and vice versa.

What You'll Need:
6+ years of software engineering experience in all phases of a software development lifecycle
3+ years of experience of hands-on management
Experience with mentoring, coaching, and growing talent at different phases of their careers.
Experience with shipping high quality software in a cloud environments
Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering
Demonstrated ability to attract and hire talent and grow the team rapidly
Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and code velocity
BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent qualifications
Experience with an OO language, such as Java or C#, or Go - must
Kubernetes Experience - advantage
Experience with networking technologies and/or cyber-security – advantage
