About the Role:

CrowdStrike India is looking for an experienced accounting professional with hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting. This is a new position and will take on interesting and challenging responsibilities as our organization continues to grow in both size and complexity.

What You'll Do:

  • Strong written & oral communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks at the same time

  • Able to review and analyze a process, recommend and implement improvements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

  • Prepare and record asset, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information

  • Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts to support recorded balances and track activity

  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure that business transactions are appropriately accounted for

  • Participate in the monthly accounting close process and MoM variances based on trend

  • Preparation of accrual journals and reversal entries

  • Assist in statutory audit works of public listed companies

  • Involved in finalization of statutory audit of financial statements

  • Calculate the referrals fee expense and booking of necessary entries in ERP

  • Perform analysis on referrals expense and accruals to identify any potential adjustment or reason for MoM variance.

  • Review and verify the rebate calculation including monitoring the rebate accruals.

  • Assist in operations of referral and rebate payments and communications.

  • Assist in development and documentation of processes and procedures, monitoring of internal controls and identification of opportunities for efficiencies

  • Ensuring global consistency in accounting process and practice where possible

  • Perform accounting processes in compliance with SOX

  • Ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary

What You'll Need:

  • MBA/MCom with 7+ years of Accounting / General Ledger and Reporting experience

  • Shift Timing : 02pm – 11pm

  • Strong understanding of ERP (NetSuite experience is preferred)

  • Experience with a “Customer referral and rebates” will be a big plus
