About the Role:

CrowdStrike India is looking for a candidate experienced in multi-entity payroll accounting. The role of the senior accountant responsible for payroll entails preparing payroll reconciliations, relevant reports, estimating, and compiling company payroll into the general ledger. It is required to work collaboratively with the payroll operations team to make sure that there is smooth delivery of payroll to the company’s workforce.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and analysis of operational data

  • Summarize trends, acknowledge queries, create and draft reports

  • Support information requests from multiple country local accountants to ensure we meet local country requirements

  • Record net pay to employees, tax withholding payments as required in the general ledger

  • Process and post journal records for payroll

  • Support various payroll and related audits like benefits pension etc. by third parties

  • Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting schedules and correspondence with global accounting team in US in line with set timetable

  • Prepare various account schedules and other required analysis for external auditors

  • Assist in development and documentation of processes and procedures, monitoring of internal controls and identification of opportunities for efficiencies

  • Ad hoc projects, as deemed necessary

What You'll Need:

  • Strong written & oral communication skills

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, payroll management and compliance with international accounting standards.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • Positive attitude, passionate and a self-starter

  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to perform multiple tasks at the same time

  • Able to review and analyze a process, recommend and implement improvements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MBA/MCom

  • 4-6 years of experience in payroll accounting and other general ledger accounts

  • Display of proficiency in GAAP and general payroll practices

  • Strong understanding of ERP (NetSuite experience is preferred)

  • Experience with a "Shared Resource Centre" will be a big plus
