Consistently recognized as a top workplace, CrowdStrike is committed to cultivating an inclusive, remote-first culture that offers people the autonomy and flexibility to balance the needs of work and life while taking their career to the next level. Interested in working for a company that sets the standard and leads with integrity? Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.

About the Role:

As a Senior Manager on the Technical Tooling Team, you’ll be responsible for supporting and owning the Process and Tooling Team, within the Program Management organization. This includes engaging end-to-end in the work and projects that pertain to the SDLC and the tooling suites Crowdstrike uses to support it. Our mission is to architect solutions, build tools, and automate the processes that the Product and Engineering Organization needs to succeed.

What You'll Do:

Your primary focus will be two-fold:

  • You will drive and own the strategic planning of the roadmap for the Process and Tooling Team, enabling quality execution. Strategic planning will include long term planning (more than a year), and planning the quarterly project level execution. You will work with dev management task assignments, and manage schedule progress from large phases through to detailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependencies within and across Product Groups. This will require working directly with Program Management Senior Leadership, Team Developers, Product Owners, the IT Atlassian team, and other stakeholders across the org to ensure timely delivery and tactical execution against the roadmap. You will work closely across functional teams, and across geo-locations in Europe, the United Kingdom, Israel, and the United States to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.

  • You will be responsible for the people management of a growing team of Program Managers (5) which includes an array of expertise from junior to senior developers and program managers located in the US. You’ll work in lock step with the PgM Senior Leadership team to bring consistency, clarity and successful outcomes that align to the processes that embody our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), implementing best practices in your area of responsibility.

What You'll Need:

  • Promotes employee empowerment by actively involving the team members in the direction of the program management team, product groups, and the business as a whole.

  • Demonstrates expert judgment; understanding work expected at your level vs work that can be delegated or shared (does not solely lead via delegation).

  • Actively encourages each team member to find their own self-direction (based on guidance) and to be intrinsically motivated rather than externally motivated.

  • Ability and willingness to make time for team members (weekly 1:1s, ad-hoc syncs) while supporting a program of projects and PG leadership teams.

  • Engages in a collaborative and open feedback model (giving and receiving honest feedback in a constructive manner).

  • Prioritizes honesty, trust and transparency at all times; even when speaking truthfully is difficult.

  • Models ideal behavior and best practices for your direct reports by being an individual contributor as well as a people manager.
