About the Role:

The CrowdStrike Content product group is seeking a self-motivated professional to ​help us create, enhance, and operate the core systems that turn teams of analysts into an effective barrier for threat actors. You will work hand in hand with detection engineers, researchers, and software engineers around the globe to improve existing tools and develop novel solutions to improve the overall efficacy of the products as well as the efficiency of our workflows.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on API integrations, GoLang, and full-stack development. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cyber security platform, ensuring the highest levels of quality, security, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance API integrations

  • Develop full-stack applications, including frontend and backend components, using modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

  • Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize project requirements and deliverables

  • Apply strong testing knowledge to ensure thorough validation of developed features

  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats, applying this knowledge to improve our platform and solutions

  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote growth and development within the team

  • Being an energetic ‘self-starter’ with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, both individually and when leading a team.

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on API integrations and full-stack development

  • Experience with modern web technologies, including React, Angular, or Vue.js

  • Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns

  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions

  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Bonus Points:

  • Strong proficiency in GoLang, with experience in developing scalable and secure API integrations

  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, including threat modeling, secure coding practices, and vulnerability management

  • Experience with detection engineering and similar technologies

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure

  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker & Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as including MITRE

  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $210,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
