About the Role:

CrowdStrike is hiring a DevOps Engineer to help build and deploy automation and configuration to drive our massive scale. We are looking for a highly-technical, hands-on engineer with experience using configuration management software (Chef & Ansible) to release and manage software and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes. You will develop and maintain Jenkins jobs, manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration repositories, and other core infrastructure services to support CrowdStrike’s engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research and iterate on ideal system and application configurations for optimization and reliability.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for testing and releasing configuration and software.

  • Automate tasks and develop tools to increase engineering efficiency and visibility.

  • Contribute to existing tools, frameworks and related solutions.

  • Ability to create and maintain test infrastructure, i.e., build the frameworks and packages required to implement automation.

  • Manage secure, well-tested, and high-quality infrastructure.

What You’ll Need:

  • US Citizen or Green Card holder on US Soil

  • Several years experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux-based environments.

  • Experience operating public clouds (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

  • Kubernetes or similar containerization experience.

  • Working with CI/CD, Jenkins (pipelines), Git / BitBucket.

  • Fluency in shell scripting and declarative scripting with Bash, Python, Ruby.

  • Experience with Chef / Ansible or similar IT automation tools.

Bonus Points:

  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.

  • Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, CIS, or EECS.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $180,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
