About the Role:
The HR Data and Analytics team is looking for an Insights & Reporting Analyst to join us. The HR Data and Analytics team partners with a broad assortment of stakeholders inside and outside of HR, collaborating to deliver organization-wide dashboards, analytics, surveys, reporting, and automated infrastructure. The HR Analytics Insights & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for taking complex HR data analysis and translating it into clear, understandable insights for stakeholders, including leadership. This team member will surface and deliver insightful narratives to key stakeholders to continue our efforts of “leading with data”.
In this role, you’ll help leaders make data-informed and strategic decisions by contributing to HR analytics research and data analysis. Bringing a unique combination of data storytelling and communications focus to our team, you will work closely with HR Data and Analytics team members to produce reports, newsletters, and insights for multiple stakeholders throughout HR, including an executive audience. You’ll lead the production of weekly and monthly company-wide reports that present data insights to stakeholders in meaningful and actionable ways, while working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who hopes to grow their data analysis and narrative skills across many different areas of an HR Data and Analytics function. This team member will have the opportunity to contribute to internal and external research, reports, newsletters, and insights briefings about turnover, headcount, survey and employee experience, and more. As a remote employee on a team distributed across various time zones, you will not have direct access to all of your co-workers for the entire workday, so the ability to work unsupervised, communicate asynchronously, and take the initiative in maintaining lines of communication is important. What You’ll Do:
Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources and produce data visualizations to include in reports, decks, and dashboards
Translate complex analytical findings into simple, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders across HR
Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports on various HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, employee experience, employee demographics, and Learning & Development outcomes
Create executive level presentations and summaries of key findings
Use industry trends and academic research to inform COE practices and recommend improvements
Pull HR data reports for internal stakeholders as necessary
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the HR function by educating and advising leaders
Provide consultation to HR partners to assist in telling the data story of their function and recommending best analysis or metrics for their use cases
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR processes and services
Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform HR strategies and decision-making
What You’ll Need:
Experience creating and delivering analytics to stakeholders in a professional environment
Ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports to inform decision-making
Strong data visualization and data storytelling skills. Copywriting, communications, technical writing, and/or presentation writing experience a plus
Proficiency in creating reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards that clearly communicate data findings
Verbal and written communication skills (including with Powerpoint/Slides presentations) to convey complex data in an understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders
Experience conducting research or analytics within an organization.
Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and good verbal/written communication skills
Comfortable working in a remote-first environment on a global team
Bonus Points:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar scientific field
Experience working with our tech stack (Tableau, Workday, Qualtrics, Snowflake, Python)
Experience using analytics tools to monitor content usage and effectiveness
Knowledge of Workday
Proficiency in Python (or R) and Snowflake/SQL
Experience in Google Slides, docs, and sheets preferred
Experience creating different types of multimedia collateral such as video explainers, social media style posts, etc preferred
Relevant work experience in a field emphasizing organizational science, quantitative analysis, people analytics, and/or talent analytics
