About the Role:
Hybrid role balancing elite individual performance (70-80%) with team management (20-30% / 4-6 hours weekly). Bridges SDR/CDR team and leadership, driving personal quota and team success through coaching, operations, and accountability.
What You’ll Do:
Individual Performance (70-80% of time)
Consistently exceed personal quota and attainment goals
Maintain superior daily KPI performance as team benchmark
Execute strategic prospecting campaigns and build high-quality pipeline
Collaborate effectively with AEs; operate with complete autonomy
Team Management & Operations (20-30% of time)
Coordinate team scheduling, coverage, and departmental programs (SPIFFs, contests, call blocks)
Run enablement sessions and lead team wrap-up meetings
Provide management coverage when SDR/CDR Manager is absent
Serve as first point of contact for SDR/CDR support needs
Coaching & Development
Actively seek coaching opportunities, including regular cold call monitoring
Provide structured, ongoing coaching to all team members
Lead new hire onboarding and develop struggling SDRs/CDRs with targeted plans
Share best practices and model elite prospecting behaviors
Accountability & Performance Management
Hold team accountable for daily KPIs and activity metrics
Ensure forecasting accuracy and updated opportunity notes
Monitor performance trends, address issues proactively
Track and report team metrics; implement corrective action plans
Leadership & Influence
Drive positive energy, collaboration, and team morale
Contribute strategic ideas for process improvements
Foster culture of excellence and accountability
What You’ll Need:
6+ months as SDR/CDR at CrowdStrike (preferably Sr. SDR/CDR experience)
90% or higher rolling 6 month attainment, with consistent KPI achievement
Demonstrated coaching ability and leadership qualities
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred: Team leadership experience, process innovation track record, deep CrowdStrike knowledge
Success Metrics:
First 90 Days: Exceed personal quota, establish coaching cadence, lead effective wrap-ups/enablement, balance duties, build trust, implement one process improvement
Ongoing: Sustained personal quota/KPI excellence (primary), team hitting goals, measurable coaching impact, smooth operations, positive morale
Key Distinctions from Senior SDR
Uniquely responsible for: proactive coaching (vs. observation-based), team KPI accountability, coordinating operations/scheduling/programs, leading wrap-ups, administrative compliance, management coverage, formal performance management/reporting
Career Path:
Positioned for: promotion to SDR/CDR Manager or sales management roles with sustained excellence in individual performance and team management.
Reports to: SDR/CDR Manager
Direct Leadership: Assigned SDR/CDR team
Collaborates with: Sr. SDRs/CDRs, AEs, Sales Leadership
Individual performance remains the primary focus; management duties integrated efficiently without compromising quota attainment.
