About the Product:
CrowdStrike Falcon Shield is a market-leading SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) solution that provides unparalleled visibility and control across our customers’ SaaS estates. As a market leader, we're committed to continuous innovation and setting new standards, empowering our customers to close their SaaS security gap and proactively manage risk across crucial business applications.
About the Role:
We are seeking a results-oriented Product Manager to join our Falcon Shield team as a key individual contributor. In this role, you will be crucial in executing the product roadmap, driving features from concept through launch, and becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in your area of our SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) capabilities. You will be technically minded and have a hands-on approach, yet will always advocate for the customer. You understand that launching a product successfully is just as important as figuring out what to build in the first place.
What You'll Do:
Feature Execution & Delivery: Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle for assigned features within the Falcon Shield SSPM capabilities, from discovery and research, detailed requirements and user stories through timely, high-quality launch.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, design, support and others - both within the SaaS Security group across greater CrowdStrike, to ensure product feasibility, technical excellence, and the timely delivery of customer-centric solutions.
Be the SME: Become the internal subject matter expert (SME) for your focus area within SSPM, providing deep product knowledge, context, and guidance to all stakeholders.
Own: Actively contribute to the product roadmap and backlog management, prioritizing tasks and proactively identifying and helping to resolve development bottlenecks for your owned features. Always advocate for your product area.
Be Fanatical About the Customer: Deeply understand customer needs through continuous engagement with sales engineers, customer success managers, technical support, and direct customer interactions to deliver exceptional value.
Go-to-Market Support: Collaborate with product marketing, technical marketing, and sales enablement teams to ensure smooth launches, including contributing to feature messaging and training materials.
Execution Alignment: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and execution alignment, ensuring your initiatives support the broader product strategy.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives
Innovate: Use the tools at your disposal to learn, create prototypes, and find new ways to delight customers.
What You'll Need:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a product manager, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS markets
Experience working with global teams and managing products for international markets.
Flexible approach to working across time zones (US, APJ) and occasional international travel
Skills and Competencies:
Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams through complex projects.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in English is critical.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving issues and delivering successful products.
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of SaaS or cloud security concepts and technologies, and emerging trends in the security market. An ability to work hands-on with no-code/low-code tools to deliver quickly.
Customer Centricity: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features.
Project Management: Experience with managing projects in a high paced and uncertain environment with many external dependencies.
