Position Title: Director Business Performance, Analytics (M4)

Role
As Director Business Performance, Analytics and Reporting you’ll join our Business Performance Improvement team where you will help us measure, monitor, and improve the Network business performance as well as develop plans based on those measurements to steer Crown Castle towards network growth, improved financial outcomes, supporting organizational goals. As the Director Business Performance, Analytics and Reporting you are responsible for leading an integrated team tasked with providing in-depth, timely, and actionable analyses and reporting to be used by leaders across the organization to stimulate improvements and facilitate decision making within the Network business portfolio.
You and your team will partner with stakeholders to identify business problems, develop hypotheses, conduct requisite analysis, and create insightful and intuitive reporting – transforming data into insights to ensure the success in delivering value for Crown Castle stakeholders. He or she will be expected to leverage data-based decision-making, the use of analytics, data modeling, and reporting industry best practices to offer strategic guidance and information to senior leadership. You and your team will also be responsible for both developing and consolidating high fidelity reporting aimed at providing insight on the overall performance of the network organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the reporting and analytics team, ensuring effective execution of data analysis, reporting processes, and alignment with organizational goals
- Develop, monitor, and report on key organizational KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing regular updates on performance against targets to drive organizational performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a centralized reporting suite, delivering a holistic view of the network organization’s performance and integrating key metrics for comprehensive analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytics practices by adopting best practices, leveraging new technologies, and staying current with industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify business needs, define reporting requirements, and deliver customized analytical solutions.
- Identify trends and data correlations in Network Operational Performance to unlock improvement opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to create actionable business recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making
- Serve as a dedicated steward for the professional growth and development of an analytical team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

- Extensive experience in requirements gathering, scope drafting, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives on schedule and within budget
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel (specifically advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts) including experience building complex financial models
- Extensive experience building analyses and reports in PowerBI
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Management Science, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science (MS) degree preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Ten (10)+ years of experience in the fiber or wireless industry
- Five (5)+ years of accounting, finance, or business reporting and analysis experience

Reports to: VP Business Performance
Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Manager Business Performance, Manager Business Analytics
Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
