Position Title: Technical Lead / Sr Software Engineer, ServiceNow (P4)

Role:

As a Technical Lead / Sr Software Engineer, ServiceNow you will play a pivotal role in overseeing seamless and efficient service delivery for the development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass designing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow modules to align with the company's service strategies. You will lead the implementation of complex workflows, automation, and integrations to optimize customer support, field service operations, and technical issue resolution. Your expertise will be vital in analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and providing guidance on best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Capability Leadership: Oversee the development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Architect and Design Solutions: Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions working with solutions architect, leveraging best practices to ensure efficiency, security, and high performance.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide a team of developers, administrators, and analysts, to drive best practices in coding, configuration, and platform management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product manager and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow governance models, ITIL best practices, and company policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and integrations to continuously improve platform performance and user experience.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified System Administrator

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience with ServiceNow development and architecture
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Technical Lead
  • Experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with proficiency in ServiceNow modules like ITSM, FSM, CSM/TSM, and others.
  • Experience developing custom applications, workflows, and automations within ServiceNow
  • Integration experience between ServiceNow and third-party systems, tools, and data sources.
  • Understand cloud-based architectures, with expertise in designing scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and understands REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.
  • Proficient with relational databases and scripting to manage data within ServiceNow.
  • Write and maintain software code from front-end interfaces to back-end logic for applications, systems, or tools that access or retain all or some data related to customers, financial information, or personally identifiable information (PII). Subject to local and state eligibility, a pre-employment background check will be conducted for criminal convictions, including misdemeanors and felonies related to fraud or violence. A credit check may also be conducted.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, participating in or leading sprint planning and execution

Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of occasional on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter and may require up to 10-15% travel.

The salary range offered for this position is $153,400 - $172,800.00 annually. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
