Role
The Towers Strategy & Planning team is excited to partner with a Business Analyst Intern to drive our business forward this summer. Positioned within our Towers organization, our team leads goal setting, resource planning, and business casing for strategic investments across a broader 1,000-person organization. This summer, we expect our Business Analyst Intern to support our collaborative work as we consider strategic investments across our Verticals business and Power-related growth opportunities. We look forward to working closely with our Business Analyst Intern to provide strategic and tactical recommendations to improve business outcomes within Towers.
Responsibilities
- Interface cross functionally to gather data and structure problems in ambiguous settings.
- Conduct desktop research including synthesizing market research from industry periodicals/ whitepapers.
- Build knowledge base of the current operational state of the Towers business.
- Conduct data analytics to glean actionable insights and craft compelling data visualizations.
- Assist in developing financial models to compare financial metrics and strategic investments.
- Develop executive presentations to articulate strategies and strategic and tactical option sets.
Expectations
- Ability to collaborate, build relationships and frame issues thoughtfully across all organizational levels.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to new information or changing assumptions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly present complex information.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Preference for experience using data analytics tools like Python, R, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Desire to build a career in the communications industry upon graduation.

Education/Certifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution.
- Preferred field(s) of study: Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields preferred.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 2 to August 8, 2025.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship.
- Previous internship experience in a cross-functional, analyst and/or quantitative role, preferred.
Reports to: Sr. Business Analyst, Strategy & Planning
Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
Compensation Information: The hourly pay offered for this position is $19.50 per hour.
