Curefoods is looking for a senior leader to drive corporate development, fundraising, capital allocation, long-range planning and investor engagement. This role will work directly with the Founder & CEO and closely with the CFO, COO, Board and investors. The mandate is to help shape where Curefoods deploys capital, which growth opportunities it pursues, how expansion and acquisitions are funded, and how the company builds long-term enterprise value.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Development and M&A
● Lead the end-to-end M&A and corporate development agenda.
● Identify acquisition, investment, partnership and consolidation opportunities.
● Evaluate strategic fit, valuation, returns and integration potential.
● Lead diligence, structuring, negotiations and transaction execution.
● Track post-acquisition performance against the original investment thesis.
Fundraising and Capital Structure
● Lead all equity and debt fundraising initiatives.
● Develop the optimal financing strategy for growth, expansion and acquisitions.
● Manage investor materials, financial models, outreach, diligence and negotiations.
● Build relationships with private equity funds, family offices, banks, NBFCs and credit funds.
● Design structured financing solutions, including acquisition debt, deferred consideration, earn-outs and hybrid instruments.
Cash Planning and Five-Year Business Plan
● Own Curefoods rolling five-year business plan.
● Build integrated brand-wise and channel-wise plans covering revenue, margins, cash flow, capex and returns.
● Own medium- and long-term cash planning in partnership with the CFO.
● Develop base, upside and downside scenarios.
● Ensure alignment between strategy, annual budgets, funding needs and operating priorities.
Investor and Board Engagement
● Manage engagement with existing and prospective investors.
● Lead preparation of investor presentations, strategic updates and fundraising materials.
● Run Board planning in partnership with the CEO, CFO and Company Secretary.
● Improve the quality of MIS, Board reports and strategic decision-making materials.
● Track Board actions and ensure follow-through.
Strategy Deployment
● Translate Curefoods long-term strategy into measurable annual and quarterly priorities.
● Define ownership, milestones, resource requirements and performance metrics.
● Partner with business leaders to drive execution of key strategic initiatives.
● Act as a trusted thought partner to the Founder & CEO on major strategic and financial decisions.
Candidate Profile
● 12–15 years of relevant experience.
● Current or recent experience as:
○ Head of Corporate Development or Strategic Finance in a scaled company
○ Principal in a VC, PE, growth equity or special situations fund
○ Director in an investment banking firm
● Strong track record across M&A, fundraising, capital allocation and financial strategy.
● Deep understanding of valuation, financial modelling, capital structures and investment returns.
● Experience working directly with founders, CEOs, Boards and institutional investors.
● Strong commercial judgement, communication skills and execution capability.
● Consumer, retail, food, hospitality or internet sector experience would be an advantage.

Within the first 12–24 months, this person should:
● Build and own Curefoods five-year strategic and financial roadmap.
● Create and execute a high-quality M&A pipeline.
● Secure the equity and debt capital required for growth.
● Improve cash visibility, investor communication and Board effectiveness.
● Ensure strategic priorities are translated into measurable execution plans.
