Company Description

Curefoods (EatFit) is a company that incubates food brands and operates state-of-the-art cloud kitchens & Dine-ins with a focus on making honest food that customers love. We aim to democratize access to good food in a sustainable manner by providing food that suits our customers' palettes and nutritional needs. Our current portfolio of brands includes EatFit, CakeZone, Sharief Bhai, Nomad Pizza, Frozen Bottle, Olio, Rolls on Wheels, Great Indian Khichdi, Home Plate, Juno's Pizza, Chaatstreet and Ovenfresh.

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Finance Analyst to be the finance partner for our store operations, category, and growth teams. This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to work at the intersection of finance, retail operations, and consumer brand strategy — tracking unit economics for a fast-growing dessert/QSR brand with a mix of dine-in, delivery, and franchise formats.

You'll own store-level and category-level P&Ls, partner with Operations and Category teams on pricing and cost decisions, and build the analytical backbone for expansion decisions (new store launches, menu profitability).

Key Responsibilities

Store & Unit Economics

  • Build and maintain store-level P&Ls (dine-in and delivery formats)
  • Track contribution margin, food cost %, rent-to-revenue ratio, and other unit economics KPIs
  • Partner with Ops teams to flag underperforming stores and drive corrective action plans

Business Partnering

  • Act as finance business partner to Category, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Evaluate profitability of new product launches, combos, and seasonal menu changes
  • Support pricing decisions with margin impact analysis across channels (dine-in, Swiggy/Zomato, own app)

Planning & MIS

  • Own monthly MIS, budget vs. actual variance analysis, and management reporting decks
  • Build annual operating plans (AOP) and rolling forecasts at store, city, and category level
  • Automate recurring reports (dashboards in Excel/Power BI/Google Sheets)

New Store Economics

  • Build business cases for new store openings — payback period, IRR, breakeven analysis
  • Track capex vs. budget for new store rollouts

Cost & Vendor Analysis

  • Analyze raw material cost trends (flour, chocolate, packaging) and their P&L impact
  • Support procurement/supply chain teams with cost-benefit analysis on vendor contracts
  • Track aggregator commission impact (Swiggy/Zomato) on channel profitability

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or corporate finance — retail, QSR, F&B, or consumer brands strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, financial modeling); Power BI/Tableau a plus
  • Solid grasp of unit economics, P&L structuring, and variance analysis
  • CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (any level) or equivalent

Good to Have

  • Experience with multi-format retail (own stores + delivery/aggregator channels)
  • Exposure to SAP / Oracle / Zoho Books or similar ERP systems
  • Prior experience working closely with Operations or Category teams (not just a back-office finance role)

Traits We Value

  • Comfortable with ambiguity — this is a fast-growing brand, priorities shift
  • Bias for action: prefers a good-enough answer today over a perfect one next week
  • Can translate numbers into a story that a non-finance stakeholder (store manager, category head) can act on

Key Metrics You'll Own

  • Store-level EBITDA margin
  • Food cost % and contribution margin by SKU/category
  • New store payback period and IRR
  • Forecast accuracy (budget vs. actual variance)
  • Channel-wise profitability (dine-in vs. delivery)
