Inside Sales Representative

Location: East Region (US) - Remote

Position Summary

Looking to break into cybersecurity sales? No industry experience yet? That’s okay. We’ll teach you what you need to know through hands-on onboarding, ongoing coaching, and a team that invests in your development.

CyCognito is looking for driven, curious, goal-oriented individuals who want to build a long-term career in B2B software sales. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will engage new prospects, follow up on inbound interest, support field events, and partner with Regional Sales Managers to build high-quality pipeline across your territory.

This is a remote role where you can make an immediate impact and be rewarded accordingly. It is a quota-carrying position with uncapped earning potential.

About the Role

  • Research and prospect into named accounts across your region.
  • Create thoughtful outbound outreach using calls, email, LinkedIn, and other creative approaches.
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries and marketing campaigns, qualifying prospects and identifying the right next steps.
  • Use tools like Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Clari to manage your workflow and pipeline.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Regional Sales Managers, supporting their territory plans and collaborating on opportunities.
  • Attend field events, trade shows, and partner activities.
  • Exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly KPIs that help drive overall sales goals.
  • Lead high-level conversations with prospects about CyCognito’s value and how we help organizations reduce real risk.

About You

  • You have a proven track record of reaching and engaging buyers, whether that was as a BDR, in another inside sales role, or in a completely different industry where you had to influence decision makers.
  • You’re comfortable speaking with executives and business leaders, asking smart questions, and building trust early in the conversation.
  • You thrive in a metrics-driven environment and take pride in consistent performance.
  • Curiosity is one of your biggest strengths. You ask great questions, learn quickly, and always want to improve.
  • You are adaptable, professional, and confident engaging with prospects across channels.
  • You work well in a fast-paced team environment and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of business-to-business sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with prospecting tools like Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Clari, etc.
  • Comfortable with high outbound activity and engaging prospects on the phone.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team. Sales is a team sport.
