Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Automotive is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial and business operations of Manheim Logistics, an area of exciting growth and transformation at Cox Automotive. The Analyst will perform and deliver financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and budgeting, along with monthly and ad-hoc reporting. Additional responsibilities will include the development and tracking of business cases in support of Logistics growth and transformation initiatives. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager and will work directly with the Logistics leadership team.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, variance analysis, and reporting key business drivers. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment and must have the ability to operate and work across functional groups in a matrixed organization. In addition, the candidate must be able to effectively communicate financial results and analysis outputs to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. Building strong business partner relationships and executive-level presentations are essential in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide finance support for the Logistics business and business partners
Reporting – develop and maintain key reporting packages for Ready Logistics and Central Dispatch that measure financial results vs. budget/forecast and prior year
Modeling – create, maintain, automate, and audit driver-based models that support forecasts and reports
Presentations – develop presentations to communicate financial results, analysis, and business cases to an executive-level audience
Planning – support the development of annual P&L budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans
Data analysis – gather and manipulate data from company data systems and sources to identify business trends, determine key takeaways, and provide recommendations
Perform ad-hoc analysis and develop financial models and business cases to support growth and transformation initiatives
Monitor and optimizes business processes – implement process improvement, standardize reporting and modeling across the business
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative field with 4+ years of experience including a 5+ years of experience with a strong focus in financial planning (budget/ forecast), financial analysis and/or business case modeling. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D with 1+ year of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience.
Demonstrated analytical ability and high degree of intellectual curiosity with track record of delivered results
Advanced MS Excel skills
Advanced MS PowerPoint skills with proven ability to prepare executive level presentations and insights preferred
Experience in Hyperion Essbase and/or OneStream preferred
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines
Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management a bonus
