Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Automotive seeks a detail-oriented communicator with very strong analytical skills for a Marketing Manager position. This hyper-analytical role will report to the Marketing Director within the Cox Automotive Retail Solutions marketing team and will support a portfolio of automotive retail brands and services including Dealertrack, vAuto, Xtime, VinSolutions, and Deal Central, and DMS+. Preference will be given to candidates who live in Utah or Atlanta.
The ideal candidate for this role will be proficient in working with raw data, Excel, Domo, PowerPoint, and visualizing data; have a demonstrated understanding of business, product, client satisfaction and marketing benchmarks, trends, and techniques; and be skilled at telling stories gleaned from data analysis and business impacts along with insights around strategic recommendations.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for management of marketing programs, including:
Help shape marketing strategies and make recommendations for optimizing marketing initiatives
KPIs focused on positive movement across marketing and business key drivers, programs and initiatives.
Synthesize program updates into scorecard readouts and reports for executive audience.
Partner with Marketing Operations team to analyze and strategize program results
Create convincing presentations illustrating results and delivering compelling recommendations.
Analyze data to make recommendations and tell data-driven stories.
Develop scorecards that cover across multiteam and brands to demonstrate tie back to marketing programs that ladder up to business initiatives.
Monthly readouts with recommendations, insights, trends and predictive insights around the future.
Provide monthly leadership readouts and executive reports to celebrate the wins from key marketing programs.
Manage project timelines and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
Project manage marketing team members and agency partners as needed.

Who You Are/ Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 6 years of marketing and/or analytics experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field.
Understanding digital advertising platforms and techniques like social media, display networks, SEO and landing page optimization, etc.
Experience interpreting data into stories and optimizing marketing campaigns.
Familiarity with strategy and marketing channels, demand gen, retention programs and brand health, as well as key business KPIs.
Understanding of other business metrics such as revenue, retention, product penetration, OSAT, CSAT, etc.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentation design.
Experience with domo, Tablo, excel and other data visualization tools
People skills, especially as pertains to getting colleagues and upper management “bought in” to organizational programs.
Detail-oriented and effective organizational skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high performance, fast‐paced team environment.
Preferred:
Preference give to those that live in Utah or Atlanta.
