Hourly base pay rate is $23.65 - $35.48/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Job Duties –

  • Direct the daily operation of the vehicle check-in area by leading and coordinating the activities and the workflow of the drivers.
  • Ensure efficient lot operation by coordinating the movement of vehicles from check-in to the sale staging.
  • Oversee and ensure that incoming vehicles are received, stocked-in, numerated and parked in the proper areas.
  • Provide quality service and interact with customers to resolve any problems that may occur.
  • Complete paperwork and reports outlining the sales lot activities, including accounts receivable, lot maps, no sales reports, etc.
  • Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment and ensure that it is functional and in good working condition.
  • Lead and direct the work of lot operations employees by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and monitoring work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Assist Supervisor in counseling and disciplining employees as necessary. Under the direction of the Supervisor, plan, monitor and evaluate employee job performance, and assist manager in conducting performance appraisals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications –

  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years’ experience; OR 9 years’ experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
