Hourly base pay rate is $14.71 - $22.12/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

The Business Service Specialist I is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of incoming vehicle titles and associated documentation. This includes prepping and scanning titles into the system, verifying VIN details, associating titles with barcoded folders, filing and retrieving folders from a secured vault, auditing title inventory, and handling the shipping/releasing of titles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, sort, and deliver incoming mail.
  • Perform data entry of title-related information.
  • Prepare titles and associated documents for scanning.
  • Scan, verify, and associate titles to barcoded folders.
  • File and retrieve folders/documents from a secured vault repository.
  • Print waybills and manage outgoing title shipments/releases.
  • Operate mail processing and scanning equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment (e.g., scanners).
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and administrative protocols.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 10-key data entry.
  • Previous experience in document handling, mailing, or vault environment.
  • Familiarity with VIN verification processes or automotive titles.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume production or administrative support role.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach for and pulling of folders for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform routine and repetitive production work.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs, and push/pull up to1200lbs on lift jack.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment.
  • Noise level can be loud at times.
  • Variable shifts for Day and Evening.
