Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $16.15 - $24.23/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for recon customer/vehicle replacement parts identification, order communication, storage and distribution to recon personnel. Additional duties may include maintaining inventories of shop tools and supplies.

  • Define specific parts identified by customers (Repair Order) to be ordered and replaced on their vehicles during the recon processes and communicate information to Procurement staff for order placement

  • Work with recon technicians to Identify specific parts required during the recon/repair process and communicate information to Procurement staff for order placement

  • Track ,receive, inventory and distribute all parts in a timely manner so as to meet all customer vehicle delivery expectations

  • Communicate any incorrect parts or supplies to Procurement in a timely manner and manage return timing

  • Maintain all shop supply inventory levels at acceptable levels (ordered Through Procurement) as directed by management

  • Secure and control all parts and supply inventory to minimize loss or shrinkage

  • Maintain neat and orderly work space

  • Wear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times while working specific areas.

  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in auto administrative-related roles.

  • PC Skills required.

  • AS400 is a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills regarding customer repairs and supplement items to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g. tools, equipment).

  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Regular exposure to weather conditions, fumes, and noise.

Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
