The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Security Technology, Senior Analyst, who will be accountable for physical security system design, programming, and maintaining our enterprise physical security technology platforms. Subject matter expert with advanced knowledge of physical security systems, networks, databases, report writing, and integrations with other business systems for improving processes and efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Develops and distributes reports as appropriate relating to HR support, audit, alarm activity, access management of our physical security systems, security incidents, investigations, compliance, and monthly reporting.
Manage systems, applications, networks, and databases to support and maintain the health of our enterprise physical security technologies.
Provides support for physical security technologies, networks, and databases including coordination with Cox IT organizations.
Develops, trains, and directs internal and external security personnel within the organization or functional area on enterprise physical security systems, applications, and tools.
Complete physical security designs, programming and testing for all enterprise physical security systems, tools, and applications.
Develops and supports lifecycle management including hardware and software updates for our physical security devices, tools, applications, and reporting.
Assist with developing and maintaining standardization of enterprise security systems, tools, applications.
Implements the policies, procedures and systems required to maintain and enhance the organizational mission.
Maintains knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to installation of physical security systems to ensure compliance.
Reviews and analyzes functional business operations to identify security vulnerabilities and weaknesses to recommend strategies for prevention, mitigation, and implementation.

Qualifications
Minimum:
8 or more years of experience required in a related field (i.e., Data Analysis and Report Writing, Software Application Support, Database creation and management, Physical Security Systems, Networks, etc.) if the candidate does not possess a related degree.
4 or more years of experience required if the candidate possesses a related advanced degree.
Proven self-starter, who works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
Proficient knowledge of physical security systems, networks, databases, applicable laws, and regulations to support and maintain enterprise physical security systems tools and applications including training and design of such physical security technology controls.
Knowledge of relevant software applications related to Physical Security Systems and SQL Database Query and Reporting Tools (i.e. Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, ProWatch, SureView, ServiceNow, Avigilon and all Microsoft Office programs).
Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization and external contacts.
This position requires leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, and at least 4 years of experience with law enforcement, intelligence, public, or private sector security organization.
Ability to effectively present reporting and information to internal and external partners and business leaders to support our Enterprise Security Physical Security Technology program.
Security Clearance eligible.
Experience in incident management and business continuity.
Certification or accreditation from a Risk or Security Management Association or governing body.
