This position is responsible for assisting the shop with administrative responsibilities.

What You’ll Do
- Perform data entry of charges that need to be applied to a vehicle before it sells, and verify that information is accurately recorded.
- Maintain documentation, verification of invoices to ensure correct amount on the work orders compared to actual invoice cost.
- Respond to department inquiries relating to status of parts and vehicle repair, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
- Communicate with departments and management on daily basis to make sure all information is received and posted before a sale.
- Submit estimates via email to proper accounts.
- Maintain current knowledge of account contracts relating to posting.
- Record payroll information for shop employees.
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
- Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Who You Are
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
- 1–3 years of clerical or administrative experience in automotive industry preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills required.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Basic computer skills and general use of office equipment
- Good leadership skills required; must be able to lead and motivate people.
