Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures efficient Lot Operations by coordinating the movement of vehicles from check-in to removal after sale.
- Oversees vehicle flow to ensure that incoming vehicles are received, stocked-in, numerated and parked in proper areas.
- Oversees lot operations to ensure efficient operations and administration pre- and post-sale.
- Monitors lot damage, meeting with managers on a regular basis to review and resolve potential Lot Operations problems.
- Ensures appropriate and effective coordination of the sale day lineup and execution of activities.
- Communicates with commercial accounts, customer support teams, vendors and other auction personnel to ensure coordination of Lot Operations’ activities.
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of all Lot Operations paperwork.
Minimum Requirements for Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience.
- OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years’ experience; OR 9 years’ experience in a related field
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Strong communication and interaction skills required. Excellent organizational skills required.
- Excellent people, teamwork and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years auction lot operations experience and knowledge of overall auction functions required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
- Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.). Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts hazard, electrical shock hazard and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Moderate noise level. Frequent exposure to outdoor weather
