Hourly base pay rate is $14.71 - $22.12/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description
This position is responsible for controlling Inventory flow through the shops and Sorting (Inventory Management system) for reconditioning services offered to all internal and external auction customers. Accurately recording parts movement through Sorting is paramount and a daily requirement.
Provide accurate movement by file updates in Sorting for body and mechanic (including PSI) services.
Work with Procurement/Purchasing staff to assure accurate pricing of parts and supplies billed on work orders..
Monitor repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates, as directed by management.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
3+ years of experience related to automotive parts preferred.
Solid computer skills required.
Effective communication skills and organizational skills required. Strong attention to detail and follow-through required.
Experience in installing/ordering automotive parts preferred.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bodywork, frame damage and minor mechanical repairs.
Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer focused with strong attention to detail.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
