Hourly base pay rate is $17.74 - $26.59/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

This position main responsibility is to handle the VW account and managing each step for all departments. This position is also responsible for generating accurate and timely estimates for reconditioning services offered to all internal and external auction customers. These estimates are to be generated using formats and pricing defined by management.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will be responsible for handling everything related to the Volkwagen Audi program.

  • From the unit being checked in, to the inspection, recalls, warranty work, parts ordering etc. to finally making sure it gets to the detail department before it is sold on OVE.

  • Ensure that all steps are completed with each department to ensure we have everything completed within 10-day SLA. This also includes the billing to the client for services done on each unit.

  • Manage the 30-day EV Maintenance program for the client teaming up with our EV team.

  • Depending on inventory you would also assist in writing estimates for other clients which includes. Providing accurate estimates for all mechanical needs including PSI services. Estimates will include but not limited to commercial, dealer, rental and retail customers we well as any lot or internal damage.

  • Work with Procurement/Purchasing staff to assure accurate pricing of parts and supplies required for estimates.

  • Monitor repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communication related to approved estimates and all VW units. Also perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum:

  • High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in a commercial/diesel vehicle repair shop and/or fleet service department as a Parts Associate; or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

  • Confident with numbers, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Use fractions, and decimals

  • You’ve got rock solid organizational and time management skills, and an almost obsessive attention to detail.

  • Strong computer skills, requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • You’ve also got the knack for learning new systems quickly, (such as IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, and RO Writer).

Preferred:

  • Some Automotive Parts experience is helpful.

  • Mechanical savvy, as well as the ability to learn about new parts and processes.
