The Data Syndication team ensures that data is syndicated to the right clients, for the right purposes, at the right price - and this role will be responsible for developing the frameworks that make this possible.

The Role:

This role is responsible for monthly revenue, forecasting, and reporting, serving as the subject matter expert on all revenue-related activities within the data syndication domain.

The position requires an operations background, deep analytics skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a strong ability to work across teams internally as well as maintain external customer relationships. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, curious, team-oriented and highly motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of syndication revenue, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial operations.

  • Define and scale operational processes and structure to new business units and products as the team’s scope increases.

  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasts and track performance against targets for data syndication products and services.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly revenue reports and dashboards for leadership and finance teams.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all revenue-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Data Syndication teams to resolve discrepancies and improve billing processes.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Monitor usage trends as part of efforts to govern external data syndication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field and 6 years’ experience in consulting, process improvement, operations, or financial analysis. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications/Attributes:

  • Experience with Salesforce.

  • Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.

  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Passion for data accuracy and operational excellence.
