Compensation includes a base salary of $74,000.00 - $111,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a talented and forward‑thinking IAM SailPoint Engineer I to help drive the evolution of our enterprise identity ecosystem. In this role, you will design, build, and support scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (IdentityNow), ensuring secure, automated, and compliant access across the organization. As a key contributor within this IAM engineering team, you will help modernize identity lifecycle management, streamline Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes, and strengthen access governance through intelligent automation and integration.

What You'll Do:

  • Implement and maintain SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions for identity lifecycle and access governance.
  • Configure and manage identity sources, application integrations, schemas, and account aggregations.
  • Develop and maintain identity profiles, lifecycle states, access profiles, roles, and entitlements.
  • Support Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes to automate provisioning and deprovisioning of user access.
  • Configure access request workflows, approval processes, and provisioning policies.
  • Manage and execute access certification campaigns and remediation activities.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to aggregations, provisioning, and access governance.
  • Utilize SailPoint REST APIs and scripting (e.g., Python) to automate operational tasks and integrations.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Security, and application owners to gather requirements and implement IAM controls.
  • Ensure IAM processes comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.

IAM Tools

  • SailPoint ISC (Preferred), Microsoft Entra, LDAP, Okta, CyberArk, CA PAM, and Venafi (Certificate Management / Machine Identity), Any IAM Tool ex. OIM/OAM.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 12 years’ experience in a related field
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), and LDAP best practices.
  • Experience with identity provisioning and lifecycle management using Identity Governance solutions Ex. SailPoint IdentityNow / ISC (Preferred).
  • Experience integrating IAM components with directory services including OUD, MS Active Directory.
  • Experience integrating IAM with ITSM or ticketing systems.
  • Experience with application and webservices (SOAP & REST) development.
  • Experience with federated identity and web services security concepts such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.
  • Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems and concepts.
