AI LEAD DATA ENGINEER

Job Description:

AI Lead Data Engineer positions offered by CCI Corporate Services LLC (Atlanta, GA). Build enterprise AI/ML frameworks and platforms. Enable technology solutions to support the evaluation, development, and implementation of AI (or ML) driven analytical applications with cross-functional teams. Provide subject matter expertise in integrating cloud apps with AI/ML models and related technologies including vector stores, RAGs, open-source AI packages, embeddings, etc. Build reusable frameworks, architectural best practices for enterprise grade AI or ML solutions with cost optimization, monitoring, performance benchmarking, internal tooling, infrastructure, and AI/ML Ops. Build and maintain cloud environments and define a structured application code migration process across environments (development to testing to production) to enable the data scientists to build, test and operationalize AI/ML applications. Enable monitoring and benchmarking platforms for wholistic performance measurement of AI/ML solutions. Keep up to date on new technologies, standards, and practices in Gen AI, AI Ops & MLOps space.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field and 6 years of experience programming with SQL, Python, R, AWS, Snowflake, Oracle or Microsoft DB programming language.
  • Must also have 6 years of experience:
    • developing and programming data and analytics powered applications.
    • performing cloud data engineering;
    • working with data warehousing, data engineering, databases, cloud data pipelines, data science modeling, and APIs or ETL;
    • working with cloud vendors;
    • using AWS or GCP;
    • integrating APIs in the telecommunications space; and
    • communicating insights to cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated.
  • Employee reports to office in Atlanta, GA. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

Compensation includes a base salary of $157,425. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
