Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $50,400.00 - $75,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The role of the Operations Analyst is responsible for providing daily support to internal and external clients by compiling and interpreting operational data for key business stakeholders. The Operations Analyst must be flexible and be able to sustain multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role aids the development and analysis of critical business metrics and KPIs, translating operational data into actionable insights that inform business strategy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen and strategic judgment, partnering with leadership to optimize operations, mitigate risks, and enable scalable growth.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

· Have a thorough understanding of Assurance Solutions, its products and services, and its goals, objectives and performance to ensure goals and SLAs are achieved.

· Create journal entries for intercompany payments

· Partner with Accounts Payable teams to onboard suppliers and correct supplier account and shipping issues.

· Research transactions to provide finance teams and auctions with accurate account information.

· Research and advise auction administrative staff and Cox Automotive finance teams to route payments, pull back funds, and reissue checks as needed to resolve issues.

· Participate in business and/or technology meetings and coordinate with technology team on system enhancements

· Coordinate with business stakeholders in key meetings to provide insight, process improvement recommendations, and other enhancement recommendations.

· Perform data entry activities, business, technical, and procedural support for operational business processes including claims approval, AR collections, and transactional processing.

· Ensure proper handling of sensitive information and verify accuracy of recorded information including contractually required data segregation obligations

· Facilitate communication between auction administrative staff, DS Operations, and Cox Automotive finance teams, and maintain relationships with DS-Network auction representatives.

· Obtain thorough working knowledge of Manheim’s technology applications, clients, and business units.

· Use SQL queries to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy.

· Coordinate with Management to use database views and Tableau dashboards to increase transaction visibility and accuracy

· Provide regular reporting of key account information by compiling and analyzing data.

· Create documentation such as standard operating procedures for this position, process flows, and business requirements.

· Handle escalations from finance teams around auction receivables and evaluate customer risk to make disbursement processing decisions

· Coordinate to solve day-to-day issues that arise within normal operations.

· Ensure efficient and appropriate administration of DealShield products and related business rules.

· Develop and execute action plans to address ineffective situations.

· Respond to auction requests and needs; anticipate situations and act proactively.

· Self-manage time and tasks, setting priorities based on need, urgency and strategic importance.

· Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned.

Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or equivalent experience required such as High School Diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Auction and/or automotive experience is preferred

  • Database & SQL query experience preferred

  • Attention to detail required including ability to validate data

  • Proficient computer and software knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs

  • Strong organizational skills and strong verbal and written skills.

  • Work well under pressure and with moderate direction

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Strong time/task management and analytical and problem-solving skills required.

  • Candidates must demonstrate initiative with a results orientation, while exhibiting both a strong individual drive and ability to act jointly within a team.

  • Candidates must be able to embrace gaps in rules/processes, solve problems and think strategically.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines required.
