Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $81,400.00 - $122,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer I who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high‑impact engineering team. This early‑career role is ideal for engineers with strong fundamentals, curiosity, and enthusiasm for modern development practices including the responsible use of AI‑assisted development tools.
You will work alongside experienced engineers to build scalable, reliable, and well‑tested systems, develop your technical skills, and learn how software solutions support real business needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, and maintain web‑based applications and services.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and unit/system tests.

  • Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and design discussions.

  • Construct and maintain services consumed by internal and external clients.

  • Collaborate on common frameworks, shared components, and best practices.

  • Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to support development, validating all output.

  • Learn and apply spec‑driven and Agile development practices.

  • Troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior engineers.

  • Assist with legacy code updates and modernization efforts.

  • Document technical designs, processes, and decisions.

  • Communicate progress, challenges, and dependencies clearly.

  • Continuously learn from senior engineers and technology communities.





Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C#, or comparable object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • CI/CD concepts.
  • Selenium or test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of SDLC fundamentals (version control, testing, debugging
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, learn quickly, and adapt to change.
  • Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Availability for rotational on-call duties outside of standard business hours may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, or distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containers, or infrastructure‑as‑code.

  • Demonstrated learning through projects, coursework, or open‑source work.
