Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $74,000.00 - $111,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst will be a critical member of the Consumer Marketing Analytics team responsible for efforts to develop an analytically driven marketing investment optimization strategy for the Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book brands. In this role, you will build and validate metrics, combine datasets, monitor data quality, analyze data, provide reports, and interpret results. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you'll provide regular updates on marketing channels that will drive improved efficiency and impact. Storytelling is a critical function of this position, including summarizing complex analytics into actionable recommendations for marketing.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle day-to-day marketing performance reporting, partnering closely with the Marketing team and our agency to address ongoing reporting and optimization needs.
  • Support the implementation of marketing datasets that will deliver on the reporting and analytic requirements established by the Marketing team.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards designed for flexible reporting and easy consumption by internal stakeholders.
  • Improve and maintain existing dashboards and shared data sets.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as product, data engineering, martech, and tagging governance as needed to maintain accurate digital tracking measure digital marketing performance to drive improved marketing outcomes across customer engagement, acquisition, and retention.
  • Support the mining, analysis, and interpretation of data using statistical techniques to develop actionable insights into complex business challenges.
  • Effectively communicate findings and results to various internal and external stakeholders by explaining the story behind the data and making recommendations to the business based on data insights.

Who You Are

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 4 years’ experience in related fields such as Marketing, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of digital marketing and web analytics
  • Experience using SQL for querying and manipulating data for analysis
  • Skill in merging diverse data from different platforms, formats, and environments
  • Strong experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
  • Curious mindset with a passion for analytics and digital technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data insights
  • Travel: 5%

Preferred:

  • Working experience with Tableau Server
  • Working experience with the Snowflake ecosystem
  • Working experience with Google Analytics
  • Working experience an MMP such as AppsFlyer
