Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $18.17 - $27.21/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

  • Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (Zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the Auction including:

    • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

    • Stock number.

    • Dealer identification number.

    • Make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.

    • Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.

  • Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.

  • Associate and install OBDII tracking device.

  • Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.

  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e. assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes, taking photographs of vehicles, preparing condition reports, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Generally less than 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Work Environment:

  • This is an outside position with exposure to the weather elements.
