Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a proven:

Delivery-focused, execution-driven leader.

You manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously — setting milestones, owning critical path, and driving outcomes even when the path forward is ambiguous. Equally comfortable in the weeds with operations, product, and other teams as you are presenting to senior leadership. You move fast from analysis to action.

Strategically grounded contributor with strong business acumen.

You quickly grasp how an organization's divisions, functions, and dependencies fit together — and use that understanding to build and execute plans that actually work. You structure ambiguous problems into clear frameworks, pressure-test business cases, and communicate with executives with confidence.

Outcome-focused, strategic enabler.

You build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, earning influence without authority. You know the difference between change that's announced and change that actually takes hold.

Specific Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis across operational data, process performance, and strategic priorities — translating findings into clear, actionable, executive-ready recommendations

  • Build and maintain process maps, frameworks, and other artifacts that make complex operational realities understandable and actionable

  • Contribute to business case development and financial modeling in support of strategic initiatives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency across Cox Fleet — and drive them to resolution

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage large, complex enterprise initiatives requiring multiple workstreams and functional teams — with direct exposure to senior leadership

  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation, task assignments, dependencies, critical path, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Monitor progress, track milestones, and proactively surface and address risks and issues

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work directly with senior business leaders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities

  • Influence outcomes across functions through compelling analysis, structured communication, and relationship-building

  • Support integration efforts and ensure cross-functional participation across initiatives

Change Management

  • Apply change management methodologies and tools in developing change strategies and tactics, including communications, stakeholder engagement, and training

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of change enablement strategies to drive adoption, sustainment, and compliance with new processes and technology

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in and 8 years’ experience in a related field (program/project management for enterprise transformation programs or equivalent management consulting experience). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 6years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience in a related field; or 12 years’ experience in a related field

  • Experience leading cross-functional work teams and influencing outcomes through indirect people leadership

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects

  • Advanced project management skills and proficiency in related methodologies, tools, and change management frameworks

  • Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from senior executives and key stakeholders through compelling communication and relationship-building

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you write clearly, structure ideas logically, and present persuasively

  • Experience mediating conflicts and negotiating solutions with internal and external partners to ensure project success

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Management consulting experience strongly valued — we are actively seeking candidates with a consulting background who are ready to own outcomes, not just produce recommendations

  • Experience in financial modeling, business case development, or strategic analysis

  • Experience in fleet, mobility, automotive, or adjacent industries
