Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Network Operations
- Server Management: Administer on-premises Windows 2022 Servers, Hyper-V
- virtualization environments, and hardware health via ILO.
- Network Security: Manage Sophos Firewalls (HA Clusters), configure Web Filter
- policies, and maintain Site-to-Site VPNs.
- Core Networking: Maintain Layer 2/3 switches, VLAN segmentation, ACLs, and
- physical cabling (Ethernet/Fiber).
- Connectivity: Monitor ISP performance, WiFi Infrastructure Oversight, and manage
- network performance Optimization.
2. SaaS & Identity Management (Google Workspace)
- Platform Admin: Full administration of Google Workspace, including license
- management, Google Groups, and Shared Drive architecture.
- Data Governance: Implement and monitor DLP rules (Email, Chat, Drive), and audit
- mail forwarding and logs.
- Mail Security: Proactively resolve spam, phishing, and delivery issues.
3. Endpoint Management & InfoSec
- MDM Administration: Manage Windows and Mac fleets via Jumpcloud; handle policy
- enforcement, software payloads, and remote scripts.
- EDR Management: Oversee Sentinel One deployment, including sensor updates,
- allow/deny lists, and endpoint health monitoring.
- Patching: Execute OS, firmware and third party applications patch management
- schedules for all end-user devices and infrastructure hardware.
- Physical Security: Manage office access control systems, CCTV NVR, and NAS-based
- video/audio archival.
4. IT Asset Lifecycle & Operations
- Employee Lifecycle: Lead the technical Onboarding/Offboarding process, ensuring
- seamless account provisioning and strict access revocation/log retention during exits.
- Procurement: Evaluate hardware use-cases, manage vendor relationships, and obtain
- competitive quotes for IT equipment.
- Asset Management: Maintain a real-time inventory of all hardware, conduct periodic
- audits, and manage the end-of-life (EOL) process, including secure data destruction.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience: 4–6 years in a Systems Admin or L2 Support role.
- Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Windows and macOS.
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewalls, and SIP
- Platforms: Proficiency in Google Workspace Admin Console, Jumpcloud (or similar
- MDM/IdP), and Sentinel one (or similar EDR).
- Hardware: Experience with Sophos, Hikvision, Dell/HP Servers, and Cisco/Aruba
- switching.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and supporting end-users.
- Highly organized with a focus on documenting SOPs and maintaining compliance logs.
