Chief of Staff to the German Managing Director

Our Business

Doctolib is Europe’s leading healthcare technology company, on a mission to transform the way healthcare is delivered and experienced. Founded in 2013, Doctolib empowers healthcare professionals and patients with innovative digital products, supporting over 400,000 healthcare professionals and 80 million people across multiple countries.

Our mission is to empower people to be healthier and to help health professionals have a better work life. To achieve this, we are building the most advanced Operating System (OS) for health professionals and a daily health companion for people; AI-powered, modern, and at the forefront of innovation in health tech.

The opportunity

Doctolib Germany is at a critical inflection point, transitioning from a strong operation to a true scale-up. With ambitious targets of €34M+ ARR (50% YoY growth), the business is orchestrating a complex multi-channel growth engine across partnerships, local sales, marketing, PLG, deployment, and customer expansion.

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to be the strategic partner to the Managing Director (MD), Nikolay Kolev. This role goes beyond traditional coordination: you will drive execution, ensure cross-functional alignment, and take hands-on ownership of transformation initiatives. You will enable the MD to focus on vision and stakeholder management while you orchestrate the growth engine and lead critical programs that will position Doctolib for IPO readiness in the next 2-3 years.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of a high-growth business in one of Europe's most important healthcare markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Orchestrate the growth engine: Drive execution across 10+ building blocks (partnerships, local sales, marketing, PLG, deployment, customer expansion,...) ensuring these complex, interconnected initiatives move forward in sync and deliver measurable results
  • Own and co-lead critical transformations projects: From full OS launch to partner reselling, PLG strategy to sales scaling, own critical projects and push them towards closure
  • Monitor and unblock performance: Track key growth metrics (SQLs, CVRs, NMR, ARPU) not just to report, but to spot patterns, identify bottlenecks, and drive the cross-functional problem-solving that keeps momentum strong
  • Amplify the MD's impact: Represent Nikolay in meetings in order to create leverage and speed of execution, frame strategic decisions with options analysis, financial implications, and stakeholder perspectives
  • Prepare for high-stakes moments: Craft briefing materials and decision frameworks for ExCo sessions, board updates, partnership negotiations, and investor touchpoints that drive clarity and outcomes
  • Be Germany's voice in the Group: Build strong relationships across Product, Tech, Finance, and People teams, ensuring German priorities are understood, resourced, and supported within Doctolib's broader ecosystem
  • Elevate the leadership team: Coach German leaders to strengthen performance and collaboration, ensuring the team is ready to scale and thrive in a high-growth, pre-IPO environment
  • Lead a team of 2 EAs to manage Nikolay's agenda and calendar, ensuring his time is focused on the highest-leverage activities—ExCo engagement, transformational partnerships, talent development, and critical decisions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years in growth-oriented, P&L-driven roles or strategic advisory with proven business impact
  • Strategic acumen: Strong business intuition to synthesize complex topics, frame strategic decisions, and build financial models
  • Scale-up expertise: Track record leading cross-functional initiatives in high-growth environments, ideally with pre-IPO experience
  • Change management: Proven ability to orchestrate multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities in ambiguous, high-pressure settings
  • Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills across senior executives, board members, and external partners
  • Operational excellence: Strong ability to establish governance, tracking mechanisms, and accountability frameworks; experience with growth metrics and funnel optimization
  • Communication and leadership: Outstanding written and verbal skills in German and English (French is a plus); ability to craft compelling narratives and coach leaders
  • Integrity: Absolute discretion with confidential business information and sensitive decisions
