What you'll do

The Lead Product Manager for Provisioning is a pivotal role that will engage in strategic collaboration with several key stakeholders to establish a forward-looking multi-year strategy. You will spearhead the development of the roadmap, vision, and priorities crucial for provisioning, usage, and billing initiatives. Furthermore, you will cultivate a deep understanding of pricing and packaging requirements, both within the company and among our diverse customer base. Your ultimate objective is to develop product capabilities that facilitate simple, transparent, and adaptable feature packaging and management.

Docusign has developed an award-winning and widely adopted technology that empowers businesses to streamline their agreement processes. This includes generating agreements, facilitating negotiations, securing electronic signatures, managing post-signature workflows and integrations, as well as analyzing agreements to extract valuable insights. Presently, Docusign’s suite of products caters to a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from individual consumers to large-scale enterprises. In your role, you will be instrumental in launching provisioning and billing capabilities that cater to these varied customer segments.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager of Product Management.


  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for delivering Docusign Provisioning initiatives
  • Drive the vision and requirements, and translate them to functional specifications to facilitate a sound design and deliver a delightful customer experience
  • Leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
  • Own insights on the market in which your product areas compete, staying abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of key personas, struggles and jobs to be done by closely working with customers, User Research, and Marketing
  • Understand and profile high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by key customers
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify partners critical to scaling offering
  • Monitor, measure, and report on key business and customer metrics in collaboration with Data Science and identify areas for continuous testing, experimentation and evolution
  • Evaluate and prioritize product roadmap and backlogs in alignment with Product Development teams for effective release and sprint planning
  • Facilitate requirements definition across teams to create developer-ready epics, user stories and acceptance criteria while identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers
  • Partner with Program Management, Design and Engineering to ensure product ships on time and to quality
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Support, Legal, Security and other cross-functional teams on successful go-to-market and product adoption

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related area of study (e.g., CS, EE, IT, Systems, MIS)
  • 12+ years of experience in product management for SaaS products and services with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years in product management for SaaS products and services with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience
  • Experience building and gaining consensus of business cases for new product capabilities and innovations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Direct experience in delivering product using iterative or Agile methodologies


  • Experience in product management for Financial Services focused products
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Informatics
    Strong customer focus through qualitative and quantitative measures
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, prioritize your work and handle your own time
  • Excellent executive presence, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and productivity
  • Experience building and using telemetry to review site performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed environment influencing multiple partners and roadmap delivery commitments
  • Demonstrated success leading large scale technology products including new, existing, or legacy products tailored to the needs of Financial Services
  • Consistent track record of building lasting, cross-functional partnerships with both internal and external groups
  • Proven ability to collaborate well cross-functionally across organizational boundaries with Engineering, User Experience, Research, Product, Program Management, Sales, Marketing, IT, Compliance, Security, Legal, Business Development, and Support
  • Experience in consulting, marketing or related business fields involving compliance, information security or regulatory controls

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800 - $242,225 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
