What you'll do
This role requires a significant understanding of business continuity planning methodologies and support of critical business operations. The BCDR Security Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's business continuity and disaster recovery plans. This role ensures the organization is prepared to respond to and recover from any business disruption or disaster, minimizing impact and ensuring critical functions continue. The successful candidate will have demonstrable ability to drive consensus and provide direction to multiple multi-functional partners while maintaining efficient plans, tracking issues, and proactively communicating project status.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Security Strategy & Programs.
Responsibility
- Support the administration of the company's global business continuity and disaster recovery enterprise resilience program
- Work closely with Business Leadership on significant projects that affect the company's resiliency of critical business functions and processes
- Ensure that Business Continuity program components (Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, plans, strategies, exercises etc.) are current, effective, and address company’s business requirements
- Develop schedules and materials for Business Continuity training and awareness activities to ensure that business continuity teams are trained and proficient in implementing the business continuity plans
- Coordinate business recovery disaster exercises
- Develop, Administer and manage content on the Business Continuity Intranet sites
- Support the Crisis Management Team by scheduling conference calls, supporting emergency communications, preparing and distributing status updates, guiding decision-making, ensuring execution of action items, and creating post-incident reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
- Review and improve BCDR plans based on lessons learned from incidents, drills, and evolving business needs
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of BCDR plans, testing results, and areas of concern
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, incident management, crisis management, risk management, or a related field
- Demonstrable understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Proficiency in using BCDR planning software and tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage complex projects
Preferred
- Certifications in one or more of CISM, CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, CSM, CSPO
- Familiar in different security domains such as Network Security, Application Security, Data Security, Vulnerability Management, Client and Cloud Security
- Solid understanding of security controls and how they should be implemented across applications, systems and internal/cloud platforms
- Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment
- Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences
- Meticulous individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Excellent relationship building skills and track record of positive partner feedback
- Master's Degree
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical thinking and investigative/problem solving capabilities
- Proactive self-starter, ability to take initiative, learn quickly and drive operational excellence
- Confident in working with executive team members as working with security professionals and product owners at all levels
Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary
Washington: $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
