As a Consultant, you are designing and supporting implementation of programs, policies and experiences that enhance engagement, productivity and connection for Docusign’s remote and hybrid workforce. You will drive the strategy and program development leveraging human-centered design methodologies, market research and internal data to understand users needs, develop concepts and pilots, and scale as appropriate across the organization. You will be adept at working and influencing across the organization at all levels to drive sustainable change and impact. As many of the policies and programs that impact remote work sit in functions outside of the People Team, the ability to build relationships and drive alignment is a critical part of this role.


This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Workplace Experience.

Responsibility

  • Lead the design, development and ongoing management of remote employee engagement strategy, programs, policies and practices that support an active and engaged remote employee experience
  • Leverage design thinking methodologies to understand business and user needs and objectives to develop concepts to pilot, test, iterate and learn to create scalable programs to scope and solve problems balancing immediate and longer term needs
  • Analyze employee demographics and industry trends to create data driven business cases for investment in remote work programs and policies; this includes the partnering cross functionally to build alignment and support for pilots, programs or policy shifts that sit outside of the People Team
  • Track and measure success of employee engagement programs including influencing the design of remote employee policies and experiences, workplace transformation efforts, culture initiatives
  • Partner with the L+OD team to design and facilitate virtual workshops, skills training and events to support remote employee experience and hybrid working
  • Partner with the People Team program management office to execute against the organization's Future of Work strategy to meet company ORK’s in workplace transformation, including owning specific programs, milestones and deliverables
  • Model new to Docusign use of new sync/async collaboration practices and tools, decision making framework and omni-channel communication methods to drive agility, efficiency and alignment
  • Consult on ad-hoc employee experience initiatives and programs as required.

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring

Basic

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent in relevant workplace strategy, people experience, organizational development, or experiential marketing positions
  • 12+ years of working in workplace strategy or fields listed above, with proven demonstration of developing and implementing remote work programs at scale for technology organizations
  • Significant experience in design thinking and user centered design methods, inclusive of personas, user journeys, day in the life
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives and is comfortable in leading change at an enterprise level Experience with program management including demonstrated use of methodologies, tools and programs ie: Prosci, PMI/PMP; SmartSheet, Confluence

Preferred

  • Strong written communication, executive level presentation and creative storytelling ability
  • Track record of partnering with organizational stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment and influence

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $134,900 - $216,975 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $129,000 - $182,250 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000 - $190,550 base salary

Washington DC: $134,900 - $190,550 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
