What you'll do

As a Channel Account Manager, you will be pivotal in driving the growth of our partner business, focusing on distributors, channel resellers, and particularly, System Integrators (SIers) in the region. Your primary mission involves not only leading existing SI relationships but also actively recruiting and establishing new SI partnerships, with a strong emphasis on launching new business initiatives involving these partners. Your role will encompass leading channel reseller partners and distributor partners, with a critical focus on integrating SI partners into our overall strategy to improve regional revenue significantly.


This position reports to the Director of Alliance Partnership Japan.

Responsibility

  • Own and drive relationships with system integrators (SIers), channel resellers, and distributor partners in Japan to generate significant resell revenue in the region through new customer acquisition and existing customers upsell
  • Develop partner recruitment, enablement, and GTM plan with the partners
  • Develop GTM plans with managed partners to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Complete GTM activities and lead cross-functional teams on activities for enablement and joint marketing, or proactively engage in partner enablement activities
  • Generate resold revenue and assist partners' sales teams in closing deals
  • Lead pipeline generation and revenue forecast reporting
  • Leverage existing relationships at partners to influence decision-makers, increase focus, and accelerate engagement from partners
  • Assist partners with product positioning, configuration, demonstrations, sales strategy, and closing deals
  • Forge strong DocuSign-internal relationships with key managers and support organizations in a multifaceted and growing environment to ensure the right people and connected at the right time

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or its equivalent
  • 3+ years of channel or direct sales experience in a quota-carrying equivalent role
  • Be able to travel 25% or more as necessary depending on territory/region coverage
  • Proficiency in Japanese
  • Business level of English
