What you'll do

As part of the GTM team, the Associate Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting General and Administrative areas (G&A) and Sales. This individual will develop financial analysis, craft and prepare financial plans and budgets, and communicate financial information to various stakeholders and Docusign leadership.


This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the FP&A Director.

Responsibility

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans by gathering and organizing data

  • Support the creation of financial reports and analyses to provide insights for decision-making

  • Collaborate with team members to help prepare monthly reporting packages, including variance explanations for actuals vs. forecasts

  • Monitor and track budget performance, identifying discrepancies and assisting in resolving them

  • Help with the monthly close process by preparing basic reports and reconciling data

  • Assist in maintaining financial dashboards and metrics for leadership review

  • Contribute to the analysis of expense trends and provide suggestions for cost optimization

  • Support workforce planning by reconciling headcount and maintaining updated records

  • Develop basic financial models and tools to support team initiatives and decision-making processes

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Fluent in English

Preferred

  • Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, including internships
  • High level of proficiency in all productivity tools, including Google Sheets and sophisticated modeling skills
  • Experience with Adaptive and Oracle or other large well-known ERP and accounting systems
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communications
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead work initiatives with cross-functional coordination with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with partners at all levels of the organization
