What you'll do
We are searching for a strategic and execution-minded Senior Growth Data Scientist to revolutionize our data insights at Docusign. The Product Led Growth team at Docusign is driving high-volume experimentation, leveraging data to fuel decisions that will substantially grow Docusign's self-service business. This Data Scientist will forge powerful partnerships across Product Management, Lifecycle Marketing, and Engineering to deliver data that will help improve customer experiences and turbocharge revenue growth. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will own the end-to-end development of robust self-service dashboards and AI-powered tools and deliver clear, compelling data products that directly inform product, marketing, and go-to-market execution. You will help Docusign evolve to a more proactive, intelligent, and data-driven organization — where the right insight is accessible to the right person at the right moment. Our ideal candidate combines best-in-class analytical skills, a strong strategic mindset with a bias for execution, a passion for visualization and continuous learning, and a proven record of turning usage, churn signals, and customer behavior into measurable retention and revenue impact.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Growth Analytics.
Responsibility
Improve data literacy and unlock the power of data-driven insights by working directly with product and business leaders
Reduce barriers to entry and make data accessible to more people by experimenting with cutting-edge tooling
Build semantic data sets across multiple domain areas like Product and Marketing to enable insights through dashboards, AI, and other no-code methods
Enhance insights for the Growth team by representing complex concepts in simple, easy-to-understand visualizations
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or related roles - spanning product/growth analytics, strategic/consulting analytics, or sales‑operations analytics in a SaaS environment
Experience in SQL plus Python or R
Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
Experience distilling complex analytical findings into concise, actionable recommendations for executive audiences
Experience creating clean and clear visualizations through dashboards and other tools used by non-technical stakeholders
Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference) and strategic analysis
Preferred
Prior partnership with Growth Product Management or Marketing, influencing strategy through data‑driven insights
Experience operating in hybrid self‑serve / sales‑assisted SaaS business models
MBA, MS, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics)
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to deeply understand user needs and tailor data and design to meet their use cases
