What You'll Do
- Design and develop software solutions for automation of testing and detecting quality assurance in the life cycle of software development using cloud computing tools, Web Automation, JavaScript/Java, REST API, and FIX API
- Design, develop, and implement test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures essential to financial and trading systems using various technologies like: Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, Amazon AWS, PostgresQL, BDD/Cucumber, Gherkin, TestNg framework, GIT, Jenkins.
- Design, create, execute, and automate web application scripts and execute web UI test cases
- Design, create, execute, and automate Rest API and FIX API test cases using the BDD/Cucumber Java framework
- Build relationships, mentor and influence stakeholders within QA, infrastructure engineering and other business units
- Create test strategy documents and diagnose problems to find underlying issues
- Able to build and automate integration test cases and run it out of Jenkins Pipeline with trigger
- Work at an EPIC level
- Divide the tech stack to component level and contribute to the codebase
- Build test cases from the Partner perspective that focus on performance/recovery and DR scenarios
- Serve as subject matter expert on at least one domain within the team and be responsible for end-to-end delivery of all projects
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience
- Skills and knowledge of Rest Assured, Java, BDD/Cucumber, Rest API, JSON, Web Automation, Selenium, JavaScript, FIX API, Postman
- Experience with trading flows (equity/options etc.) with an understanding of settlement and clearing
- Experience designing QA processes tied to money movement
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python
- Familiarity with CI/CD Jenkins Pipeline to integrate test automation
- Understanding of ActiveMQ/Kafka a plus
- Knowledge and experience in AWS, JMeter, or any performance testing tools are a plus

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.
Please note: this role is expected to come into our office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.
