Role Description
Reporting to the VP of FP&A, the Sr. Director GTM, Product, and Revenue FP&A will own FP&A for ~$2.5B of Annual Recurring Revenue, ~$500M of EPD and GTM Opex. You will be the FP&A partner for the GMs of our Core FSS product and for our Go to Market (GTM) team and will play a key role in our regular reporting cadences, working closely with our CFO and CEO.
This leader will drive value with a particular focus on accurately forecasting Dropbox revenue, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, and making ROI tradeoffs for proposed Product, Sales, and Marketing investments. The Sr. Director GTM, Product, and Revenue FP&A will balance developing a deep knowledge of the key drivers of the forecast model with an ability to operate at a higher altitude while communicating the story of our financial results and outlook. We are seeking an Owner, who can understand our holistic financial position, identify concrete opportunities, and work across Dropbox leadership to improve financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and develop a high performing team responsible for revenue forecasting across Dropbox, as well as the Opex for teams that drive our topline.
- Report to the VP, Head of FP&A and serve as a key resource for our CFO, Investor Relations team and other senior leaders across Dropbox
- Oversee and execute on an accurate revenue forecasting process across all lines of Dropbox businesses
- Create strong cross functional partnerships with key business leaders across the organization and present results and forecast changes while providing valuable and actionable analysis to decision makers
- Act as a strategic partner, providing financial expertise and guidance on how to evaluate multiple investment opportunities to drive sustained revenue growth
- Operate at multiple altitudes - have an in-depth knowledge of subject matter, models, and key drivers and at the same time be able to tell the story of the our financial results
- Identify and drive process improvements to create efficiencies and accuracy of the teams work
- Develop deep working relationships across the finance organization including Accounting, Investor Relations, and Strategic Finance
- Partner with Revenue Analytics, Business Platform, and IT teams in a collaborative effort to improve the quality of financial data and system processes
- Provide leadership across the broader FP&A organization, contributing to developing the culture of the team and promoting collaborative environment
Requirements
- 10+ years of Finance experience with 5+ years management experience, in roles of increasing responsibility within the finance function of an organization that has led to strong corporate finance and accounting acumen to drive decisions at both strategic and tactical levels
- Public company experience
- SaaS revenue modeling experience at scale, including experience in navigating revenue recognition guidance and regulation
- Prior leadership and people management experience with multiple direct reports and proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
- Superb analytical/quantitative skills and strong executive presence
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, large/small groups and one-on-one
- Flawless attention to detail and ability to consistently generate a high quality work product is critical as group analysis is presented to C-level management on a regular basis
- Extensive experience partnering with senior leadership both in Finance and cross-functionally
- Strong influencing skills; assertive without being antagonistic or alienating; ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture
- Demonstrated excellence in business analytics and tools. You have advanced Excel skills; and experience navigating through systems enhancements with financial planning tools. Prior experience with Tableau, Snowflake, and Oracle Financials is highly beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing ROI expertise: Experience managing a marketing budget and key performance marketing metrics (e.g. LTV:CAC).
- Managed Motion expertise: Experience partnering with a managed sales team and managing to salesforce effectiveness metrics.
- Data Science expertise: Experience building / managing data science / BI capabilities within FP&A.
Compensation
The range(s) listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role, subject to change.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.
Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington DC metro, and West Virginia (DC metro)
