Global Collections Analyst Intern (Summer 2026)

Role Description
As an intern on the Dropbox Finance Team, you will support the Accounts Receivable teams end-to-end collections processes for Dropbox Business and Enterprise customers.
This internship is designed for you to get hands-on, practical experience inside a world-class finance team. You will learn and execute collections activities for our global customer base while providing an exceptional level of customer service to keep our largest customers feeling great about Dropbox.
Your day-to-day tasks include customer follow ups, customer query resolution, cash application, write off’s and bad debt analysis. You will be driven by delivering results and creating an impact, while also maintaining a high standard of customer service and operational excellence. You will be a key business partner and work closely with our Finance, Customer Experience and Sales teams.
This role is available to students enrolled in a higher education organization in Ireland and have full work authorization. The dates of this internship are May - August or June - September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cash application
- Preparation of daily/weekly and monthly reports
- Engage with customers to collect overdue balances
- Assist with the Accounts Receivable ticketing queue and maintain it on a daily basis (Zendesk, HighRadius & accounts-receivable email alias)
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and within SLA
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Review and approve appropriate payment terms to extend to customers
- Prepare month close checklist
- Assist in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
Requirements
- Is currently enrolled in a higher-education institution in Ireland, studying Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields, with full work authorization.
- Thrives in execution, enjoys handling high volumes, and is motivated to achieve goals and targets.
- Is independent, a self-starter, and takes full ownership of assigned accounts.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with the team, internal stakeholders, and external customers.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, prioritizes tasks effectively, resolves issues promptly, and meets various deadlines.
- Has a process-oriented mindset with a basic understanding of financial controls.
- Desires to work in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced environment.
- Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Has experience with Microsoft Applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As this person will essentially be the face of Dropbox, it is important that this person strikes the right balance between the business requirements and customer satisfaction. Fluent in English - especially written
- Self starter who has experience working in a busy, fast paced environment, and can get through high volumes of work
- Organization skills - this person will be required to follow up on various queries at the same time. We need to ensure that customer’s queries are resolved in timely manner for invoices to be paid
Compensation
The rate listed above is the expected monthly rate for this role, subject to change.
