What you’ll be responsible for:

Reporting to the Global Payments & Enterprise Partnerships VP, you will lead Circle’s Partnerships and Business Development efforts for Payments and Enterprise segments across the Asia Pacific region. You will be accountable for driving regional growth by executing Circle’s global Payments strategy and tailoring it to the regulatory, market, and customer dynamics unique to APAC. This role owns the regional commercial agenda, including originating and closing high-impact partnerships that accelerate adoption of Circle’s stablecoin infrastructure at scale.

You will own and deliver against regional OKRs, translating global priorities into clear, market-level execution plans across APAC. This includes building and scaling new growth motions, expanding and operationalizing strategic partnerships beyond initial launches, and driving sustained partner performance over time. You will lead integrated regional pods that combine Business Development and Partner Management capabilities, and partner deeply with senior leaders and cross-functional teams—including Legal, Policy, Product, Marketing, and Operations—to ensure coordinated execution, operational readiness, and alignment with Circle’s global objectives and local regulatory requirements.

What you’ll work on:

  • Leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing, integrated Business Development and Partner Management pods across multiple markets in APAC.

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market and partnership strategy that ensures successful market launches, drives post-launch growth plans, and strengthens executive-level relationships with key regional partners.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners, regulators, and key industry stakeholders to support compliant, sustainable growth across diverse APAC markets.

  • Driving a disciplined, metrics-based approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and overall commercial performance across segments.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure local market readiness, coordinated execution, and successful delivery against regional objectives.

  • Representing Circle externally as a senior business leader in APAC, shaping the company’s narrative, partnerships, and strategic positioning in priority markets.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership roles within fintech, payments, blockchain, or technology.

  • 8+ years of leading high-performing regional or multi-market teams.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing regional partnership and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable growth and ecosystem adoption.

  • Experience engaging with regulators and policymakers to support compliant market entry and sustained business operations.

  • Deep understanding of financial infrastructure, blockchain, and digital assets, and their role in next-generation financial systems.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.

  • Demonstrated ability to structure, negotiate, and close strategic deals with enterprise and ecosystem partners.

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) across the region to meet partners, regulators, and customers.

  • Experience/familiarity with Salesforce, Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.

  • Finally, you enjoy building at the earliest stages. You care deeply about contributing to and improving company processes. You enjoy moving at a fast pace, building a long-lasting foundation, and helping customers and partners thrive.
